It is the idea that like attracts like and that our thoughts attract what we think about into our lives. It is based on the idea that thoughts, words, feelings, and actions bring about circumstances in life and can be changed by changing what we think about. This is where the power of positive thinking comes into play, especially if you want to attract positive situations into your life. I have done extensive research into the law of attraction and wrote about it in my book, Discover the Power of the Secret Within. I will outline, in simple terms, what the law of attraction is, the steps for the law of attraction and how to practice the law of attraction in your life. I will outline, in simple terms, what the law of attraction is, the steps for the law of attraction and how to practice the law of attraction in your life. The law of attraction is actually broken into 3 laws. Let’s explore them, and I will elaborate on what this all means.
The 3 Laws of Attraction:
Like attracts like
The first law of attraction is like attracts like. The thoughts you think and the words you speak will come back to you. It is like being in an echo chamber; if you yell the word love, love comes back. Using positive affirmations is a way to put great energy out into the vast universe. The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes.
Nature Abhors a Vacuum
The second law of attraction is that Nature Abhors a Vacuum. In technical terms, this is based on the laws of thermodynamics. What this means is that it is impossible to create a completely empty space because atoms are always bouncing around and immediately fill any empty space. Simply put, if you clear a space in your drawing and it keeps getting filled with other things, it is a good example of what this second law means; if there is a gap, something will fill it. The second phrase expresses the idea that clearing space in your life allows room for something else to fill it.
The present is always perfect
The third law of attraction is that the present is always perfect and all manifestations are happening at once. The present moment is the only time that exists. When we are worrying about something in the future or lamenting over a past event that no longer exists, we are not in the present moment and therefore can't be enjoying it. We are in an illusion unless we are in the present moment. Take advantage of this moment to manifest your dreams and goals. Additionally, making an effort to shift into a state of gratitude or appreciation helps you harness the power of this law, which begins with seeing and feeling good in your body, heart, mind, and spirit. Living in the present moment means being grateful for what you have now and being open to new opportunities that may come along down the road.
The law of attraction is the idea that what you think, feel, and focus on attracts more of the same. For example, if you want to attract a soulmate, you need to resonate with positive, loving thoughts on what you want your soulmate to be like. The key is you have to resonate with the same character traits as what you seek. If you want to attract more money, focus on ways to make more money and ways to keep it. Also visualize having money and what you will do with that money. Remember, feelings play a big role in the law of attraction. You want to feel happy and content with your visualizations of attracting money or whatever you want to attract.
The Law of Attraction has been an ancient idea, and the concept of attraction is the foundation of many philosophies, religions, and New Age beliefs. It all started back in around 391 BC with Plato when he said, “Likes tend towards likes,” which equates to “like attracts like.”
Believe it or not, Jesus was also one of the first to speak about the law of attraction when he said, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24
In this verse, Jesus basically is saying, as you pray you need to believe in your heart that you have already have what you desire. In other words, you need to think the thoughts and feel the emotions of the futuristic state you want. As per the LOA, this makes you a vibrational match to the thing that you desire.
Actually, it was William James who explained it in more scientific terms back in the 19th century. William James (1842–1910) was an American philosopher. He studied at Harvard University, where he became professor of philosophy and psychology. He is best known for his philosophical work, The Principles of Psychology (1890) and Varieties of Religious Experience (1902).
You may be familiar with William James and how he fits into the Law of Attraction. Dr. Wayne Dyer says that James is one of the most influential thinkers of his time.
William James was a very well-known philosopher and psychologist. James’ work on the law of attraction includes many ideas that are common today, but his original hypotheses were not popularly accepted until quite recently.
The LOA is a universal law, like gravity or the electric charge on a particle. It is magnetic in nature, like the ocean’s influence on the tide, with its magnetic force. It is an unseen force, like electricity, with its invisible power. LOA doesn't care whether or not you believe in it. You can reject it from your mind and deny it with your actions, but you can't hide from it, you can't evade it, and you can't forget about it. It is working in your life, whether you are conscious of it or not. It always worked in your life. The key is to have it work in a positive way. If you think back on negative experiences, you might correlate your mindset at the time as negative. If you think back on happy, positive times, you might correlate your mindset with being positive and happy at that time.
4 Steps to Use the Law of Attraction
Affirmations
Say positive affirmations several times every day and remember to feel what it would be like to obtain what you want.
I am in a loving relationship.
I am a magnet for money and it flows into my life now.
I have the job of my dreams.
My business is very successful.
I am healthy.
Visualizations
The next step is to visualize what you want. Just sit and see yourself in a loving relationship or good health and feel the feelings associated with being in that state. Do this several times a day for at least 10 minutes at a time. Also, surround yourself with pictures of the visualization, or better yet, create a vision board. A vision board is where you will post pictures and words on construction paper or a thin board that correlate with your vision for your future. There are plenty of examples you can get online.
Gratitude
Stay in gratitude. Write a gratitude list daily on things you are already grateful for and for things that you want to be grateful for. List at least 5 things you are grateful for daily.
Meditate
Before you fall asleep each night, resonate and use one picture in your mind of what you want to attract into your life and fall asleep with those thoughts, feelings, and affirmations meditating in your mind. You are going to resonate with those thoughts for 8 hours, and you want those nighttime thoughts to be positive.
In conclusion, no matter how you slice it, the law of attraction is a phenomenon that is here to stay. It’s part of the rhythm of nature. The question is, now that you have all this awareness on the Law of Attraction, what will you do with this information? Will you shift your thoughts, feelings, and speech to positive ones, or just ignore this and go on with your life as it is?
The choice is always up to you.

The Power of Manifesting
At this point, you might ask yourself: How does the subconscious mind bring feelings into form? I believe, from my research and my own personal experience, that the answer lies in the universal power that I call God, which is the almighty power that manifests our goals and dreams into reality.
According to many spiritual and philosophical teachings, the subconscious mind is part of a greater universal consciousness, referred to as God, Source, or the Universe. I proudly call this power God, which is the power behind manifestation in all its glory. This higher consciousness, or God, is considered the fabric of reality, and our subconscious mind is believed to be a conduit connecting us to the power of God. In more simple terms, what we feed the subconscious mind with feelings gets imbedded in the subconscious mind, and God brings it to form. I truly believe this is the powerful secret behind creation in all its magnificent glory and form.
In his book, Power vs. Force, Dr. David Hawkins concluded that the most powerful thing anyone can do is pray with loving emotions. That simple statement was so powerful after he wrote a complicated book on kinesiology. The power of prayer is powerful beyond anyone’s imagination and can only be brought to form by our magnificent God. I believe when we put feelings into our subconscious mind, it is a form of prayer.
The source of all power comes from our higher power, whom I proudly call God, and who is the source of all power in the world. God is the light that shines in our world, which eliminates darkness and brings goodness to form. God’s power is what brings miracles to light, goodness to the world, and hope to mankind.
This biblical passage is a powerful statement of truth that resonates with the power of God in manifesting what we want:
Mark 11-22:24 And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be taken up and thrown into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, “Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Jesus tells us, “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Jesus was telling us that the power of prayer will come to fruition, provided that whatever you ask for in prayer, you believe that you have already received it. Think about how powerful our thoughts and prayers are. We are only scratching the surface of the power behind our thoughts in this day and age. And we are only beginning to recognize the enormous power of prayer.
Manifesting our thoughts
Have you ever thought about a friend or relative, and all of a sudden, you see them in a supermarket or other public place? Or perhaps you are thinking about someone you haven’t talked to in years, and that person calls you. Or you have a thought about a certain gift you would like to buy, and a relative gives you the same gift. Or have you ever had a feeling that you were going to get the job you applied for, and you actually got the job? Or do you feel, at times, that something great is going to happen, and all of a sudden it does? What happened here is that you put these powerful feelings in your subconscious mind, and they came to fruition through the power of God.

In conclusion, when we put energy into manifesting, the power that brings our manifestation into reality is the power of God. God is the creator; we are, in a sense, co-creators of our lives. Awareness is the key to making our dreams a reality. Remember, everything that was created in life started with a thought. And our thoughts are very powerful if directed in a way that connects to the power of God that dwells within all of us. The big question is, what are your thoughts on a regular basis? Are they positive or negative thoughts?

We all, at one time or another, have dreams of meeting our soulmate. The person who will make all our dreams come true, sweep us off our feet, take us to a faraway land, and live happily ever after. This is reminiscent of the 1960’s movie Cinderella. What a classic movie that was. It gave every little girl the hope of one day meeting her prince charming and living happily ever after. However, the reality is that many of us make poor choices in marriage partners, and our dreams get shattered. Some may ask themselves why they are so bad at choosing a partner in life. Of course the answer lies within. Our Valentine's Day dream can only happen if we are at the same place we want our partner to be. In other words, we attract what we are. If we are in a broken, lonely, or depressed state, chances are we will meet someone who is broken, lonely, and depressed. This is the law of attraction, which says that ‘like attracts like.’ It’s like yelling out your emotions in an echo chamber; what you yell out will come back. So, the key to meeting your Valentine’s dream is to become what you want to meet. Let’s look at ways to attract your soulmate.

First things first
The first step is to do a complete analysis of who you are and what you want. You can start by making a list of all the attributes you want in a soulmate. List everything, from their appearance to their moral values to their personality to all the qualities you are looking for. Then, take the list and check off how many of these qualities you have. Again, like attracts like. If you want to meet a kind, generous, and loving soulmate, you have to resonate and act with kindness, generosity, and love towards everyone you encounter, not just family and friends, but the customer service person who got you angry and the clerk at the supermarket. This is one of the process of the art of finding true love.
Visualization
Visualization is the most powerful way to manifest anything in your life. The most powerful time to manifest is just as you are falling asleep at night, because you are going into sleep mode, which is an unconscious state, and this is the time when you can reprogram the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind runs your life 95% of the time, so it makes sense to feed it what you want to accomplish in life.
Start by putting one picture of your soulmate in your head, in a situation that already depicts you in a relationship. You may want to picture your soulmate sitting at dinner with you or perhaps giving you a romantic kiss. Use only one picture and not a video of the whole evening. Then, fall asleep with the incredible feelings of being in love—feeling secure, happy, content, and filled with joy. The feelings are what penetrate the subconscious mind. Do this for at least 30 nights. You will feel more loving the next morning and resonate with those feelings, and that will help attract your soulmate.
Gratitude
Living in gratitude is a well-kept secret in life. It helps us attain more of what we are grateful for. The more you are grateful, the more positive energy you are putting out into the world, the more positive energy will come back to you. Again, this is the law of attraction. I suggest writing or mentally listing at least 10 things you are grateful for every morning. It’s a great way to start your day on the right foot.
Affirmations for Finding Love
Positive affirmations for finding love is another way to penetrate the subconscious mind from a negative to a positive.
Positive affirmations are positively loaded phrases or statements that are used to replace unhelpful or negative thoughts. People can use positive affirmations to motivate them, encourage positive changes in their lives, or boost their self-esteem, but they also reprogram the subconscious mind. They are especially helpful if you have a negative thought come out of left field, What you want to do is immediately overpower the negative thought with a positive affirmation.
For example, if you keep saying, “I am too old to meet my soulmate,” You want to change that around to, “I will meet my soulmate, and age is not a factor.” Or, “I never meet a healthy partner,” can be changed around to “I met my soulmate who is perfect for me.”
In closing, your soulmate is just a thought away and resides within you. Sometimes we search outside ourselves when, all along, what we are searching for is right at our fingertips. Sure, we can be our own prince charming or Cinderella, but it is a blessing to meet a partner to spend the rest of our lives with in our happily ever after dream. Dreams do manifest into reality when you have the right tools. It’s simply a matter of resonating with exactly what you want to attract in life and then falling asleep with that dream.

Do you want to lose weight, perhaps get a better-paying job, start a business, or meet your soulmate? Or maybe you want to write a book or perform music or create art for a gallery. Imagine a world where all you have to do is think about what you want, and that becomes your reality. You might be thinking, this is a good script for a sci-fi movie, because we are not conditioned to put a lot of focus on the power of our thoughts. You might ask yourself, is my ability to create my future just a fantasy or an actual reality? The answer may surprise you, because the ability to create your future is a reality. You can create the life you want with some guidance. The power of your thoughts are a segway to manifesting your goals into reality. This article will give you some powerful manifestation techniques, that will outline ways to bring your goals into your world.

The Power of Visualization
Visualization benefits are unlimited. One of the most widely recognized manifestation techniques is visualization. Advocated by writers like Shakti Gawain, author of Creative Visualization, this technique involves forming detailed mental images of what you want to manifest. The more specific and detailed the mental picture, the more potent the manifestation. Remember, this is a powerful way to use your thoughts.
There is also a book called The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, that gives fascinating insights into the power of visualization. Peale tells us that if you keep a positive visualization in your mind every day, what you visualize will eventually come into your life. The key is to be consistent with your visualization. You can also create a vision board. You can get some oak tags, some stickers, a marker, and some pictures from a magazine and create a board of symbols and words about what you want your life to look like in the future. Put the vision board in a place where you can see it daily. I created a vision board a few years ago, and 90% of what I had on there became reality.
Affirmations
Another powerful technique is the use of positive affirmations. These are positive statements repeated regularly to reprogram your subconscious mind, aligning it with your conscious desires and goals. Louise Hay, a well-known advocate for affirmations, states in her work, You Can Heal Your Life, that repeating affirmations can significantly change our lives in a positive way. You can also write out the affirmations and post them in places where you can easily see them. Say these affirmations out loud every day and see what transpires. When you keep your focus on your goals using affirmations, it gives you an edge in reaching your goals.
The "Live in the End" Concept
Neville Goddard, a leading figure in the New Thought movement, proposed a technique often referred to as "live in the end." The idea is to imagine and feel your desire as already here, essentially living in the reality of your wish fulfilled. This process is said to impress your subconscious mind, prompting it to manifest the desired reality. In other words, if you want a promotion, visualize your colleagues congratulating you for it as if it already happened. Or if you want to lose weight, imagine yourself at your ideal weight. These visualizations are more powerful if you picture one image of what you want to manifest when you are falling asleep and resonate with the feelings of having what you want already in your life. Neville Goddard tells us in his book, Feeling is the Secret, that feelings are what get embedded in the subconscious mind and are what bring our goals to reality. Our subconscious mind drives our lives 97% of the time; therefore, the key to manifesting is to feed our subconscious mind what we want to accomplish. We do that by feeding it feelings of what we want in life, as if it were already here. Remember, you have the ability to manifest your dreams into reality.
The 5x55 Method
The 5x55 method is a newer technique gaining traction in the manifestation community. It involves writing down a specific affirmation 55 times a day for five consecutive days. This repetitive action is believed to effectively reprogram the subconscious mind. Remember, by reprogramming the subconscious mind, we are feeding it our goals, and according to Neville Goddard, the subconscious mind will bring the goal to reality.
Meditation
Meditation is often incorporated into manifestation practices to help quiet the conscious mind and better communicate with the subconscious mind. Dr. Joe Dispenza, in his book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, suggests that meditation can help us move beyond our analytical mind to access deeper states of consciousness, fostering effective manifestation. Just sitting in a state of deep contemplation can get you into a meditative state. Keep it simple and just go with the flow of meditation.
The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is based on the idea that like attracts like. By focusing on positive thoughts, we can attract positive experiences into our lives. This is accomplished by putting good energy into the world. It's similar to karma in the sense that what you put out into the world comes back to you. Think of the world around you as an echo chamber; whatever thoughts and words you put into the echo chamber come back to you. It's so important to put positive thoughts and words out into the world, rather than negative ones.
The Power of Intention
Dr. Wayne Dyer has a book called, The Power of Intention, where he outlines a clear game plan for manifesting our dreams. He also writes about a certain effective meditation called Japa. Japa is a meditation where you envision what you want in your life, and basically you put these thoughts out into the world and allow them to encircle the world and then imagine that energy coming back to you. It is a very effective way to bring our goals into our lives. For instance, if you want to manifest love, imagine being in love and then putting that energy out into the world. Then you would imagine it encircling the earth and coming back to you.
Gratitude
Gratitude plays an important role in manifestation. The more grateful you are, the more positive our thoughts get imbedded into our subconscious minds. Research has continuously stated there are medical benefits, as well as emotional benefits, to being grateful. I suggest you make a list of 10 things you are grateful for daily and read them out loud. This practice turns negative thoughts into positive ones and helps the flow of what you want to manifest come into your life.
In closing, remember, Elon Musk started with a tiny thought when he decided he wanted to build SpaceX and eventually create a colony on Mars, and now we see how his thoughts have manifested into reality. Of course he put a lot of focused effort into this project and the results are amazing. Every idea starts with a thought, and every thought empowers our actions. The more effort and motivation we put into our actions, the more results we will achieve. And to go one step further, our goals have a better chance of manifesting into reality when we use the ideas suggested in this article.
The power to manifest our desires into reality lies within each of us. We have the power to lose weight, get a promotion, connect with our soulmate, or achieve any number of goals and dreams we have lying dormant. Bring them out into the light of day with your powerful thoughts. By utilizing techniques like visualization, affirmations, the "live in the end" concept, and all of the suggestions in this article, we can tap into this enormous power within and shape our reality. Whether you resonate with Neville Goddard's teachings or Dr. Wayne Dyer's manifestation methods, finding a technique that works best for you is the key to effective manifestation. You can try one or all of the suggestions. I say the more, the better. With practice and consistency, you can harness the power of your mind to manifest your desires into reality.

Ways to a Happy Life
According to Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.” Seeing light within the darkness is key. Looking for the good that comes out of challenges is the key to happiness during challenging times.

Your situation may remain unchanged, but prayer can change you from the inside out. With prayer, you stay in the moment with peace, rather than lament negatively over a challenging situation.
Practicing Gratitude
It’s human nature to fixate on problems when struggling. Yet where attention goes, energy flows. By instead focusing on blessings and victories - however small - you summon more positive energy around you. Gratitude is magnetic. Look at all the things in your life that you have to be grateful for and focus on those blessings. As they say, “Count your blessings.”

Hang your vison board in a place where you can easily view it. Gaze at this vision board often to crystallize your dreams into reality and relish in the feelings of having your dreams fulfilled. Let the visualized scenes inspire emotions as though they are already real and relish in the feelings of the wish fulfilled.

Here are 3 examples of how people can manifest goals using the law of attraction and intentional visualization:
Landing a dream job
Visualize yourself already working at the ideal company in the perfect role. Cut out photos of the office, make vision boards with affirmations like, "I am grateful for my dream job,” and repeat them daily. Take small steps to raise your confidence like updating your resume. Live from the mindset that you're qualified for this job before you even apply.
Meeting your soulmate
Envision the loving relationship you want. Make a list of your ideal partner's qualities and imagine having deep conversations and fun activities with him or her. Look for opportunities to meet new people, approach online dating positively, and increase social engagements with an energy of attracting your soulmate. Act as you would if you were already in a fulfilling relationship.
Owning your dream car
Find photos of your desired car model and paste them in your home or vision board. Visualize driving this car, feeling exhilarated and accomplished, as you grip the steering wheel. Affirm daily while viewing the photos “I am enjoying the car of my dreams right now.” Take steps like saving money each month, or test driving models, to align your energy to manifest this. Know that you deserve this car and believe you can achieve it.
The key in each example is clearly defining the desire, conditioning your mindset to believe you already have it, taking aligned actions, and detaching from the outcome by knowing it will come. With focused intention and belief, you can manifest your goals using creative visualization and the law of attraction.
To really solidify your goal into reality, before you fall asleep at night, put one picture in your head of your goal or dream, then fall asleep with how it would feel to get the dream job, or meet your soulmate, or have the new car. It is the feelings that penetrate the subconscious mind, not the thoughts. Neville Goddard repeatedly tells us in his book, Feeling is the Secret, that the subconscious mind gets impressions from our feelings and then works to being those impressions to reality. Remember, the subconscious mind drives 97% of your actions, so it makes sense to impress upon the subconscious mind the feelings that will manifest your dreams.

Put the vision board in a place you can see it daily. I create a vision board a few years ago and 90% of what I had on there came to reality.
Affirmations
Another powerful technique is the use of affirmations. These are positive statements repeated regularly to reprogram your subconscious mind, aligning it with your conscious desires. Louise Hay, a well-known advocate for affirmations, states in her work You Can Heal Your Life, that repeating affirmations can significantly change our lives in a positive way. You can also write out the affirmations and post them in places where you can easily see them. Say these affirmations out loud every day and see what transpires.
The "Live in the End" Concept
Neville Goddard, a leading figure in the New Thought movement, proposed a technique often referred to as "live in the end." The idea is to imagine and feel your desire as already fulfilled, essentially living in the reality of your wish fulfilled. This process is said to impress your subconscious mind, prompting it to manifest the desired reality. In other words, if you want a promotion, visualize your colleagues congratulating you for it as if it already happened. Or if you want to lose weight, imagine yourself at your ideal weight. These visualizations are more powerful if you picture one image of what you want to manifest when you are falling asleep and resonate with the feelings of having what you want already in your life. Neville Goddard tells us in his book, Feeling is the Secret, that the feelings are what get embedded in the subconscious mind and is what brings our goals to reality. Our subconscious mind drives our lives 97% of the time, the key to manifesting is to feed our subconscious mind what we want. We do that by feeding it feelings of what we want in life, as if it is already here. You have the ability to manifest your dreams into reality.
The 5x55 Method
The 5x55 method is a newer technique gaining traction in the manifestation community. It involves writing down a specific affirmation 55 times a day for five consecutive days. This repetitive action is believed to effectively reprogram the subconscious mind.
Meditation
Meditation is often incorporated into manifestation practices to help quiet the conscious mind and better communicate with the subconscious mind. Dr. Joe Dispenza, in his book "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself," suggests that meditation can help us move beyond our analytical mind to access deeper states of consciousness, fostering effective manifestation.
The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is based on the idea that like attracts like. By focusing on positive thoughts, we can attract positive experiences into our lives. This is accomplished by putting good energy into the world. It's similar to karma in the sense that what you put out into the world comes back to you. Think of the world around you as an echo chamber; whatever thoughts and words you put into the echo chamber come back to you. It's so important to put positive thoughts and words out into the world, rather than negative ones.
The Power of Intention
Dr. Wayne Dyer has a book, The Power of Intention, where he outlines a clear game plan for manifesting our dreams. He also writes about a certain effective meditation called Japa. Japa is a meditation where you envision what you want in your life, and basically you put these thoughts out into the world and allow them to encircle the world and then imagine that energy coming back to you.
Gratitude
Gratitude plays an important role in manifestation. The more grateful you are, the more positive our thoughts get imbedded into our subconscious minds. Research has continuously given us medical benefits, as well as emotional benefits, for being grateful.

Remember, Elon Musk started with a tiny thought when he decided he wanted to build SpaceX and eventually create a colony on Mars, and now we see how his thoughts have manifested into reality. Remember, too, that you have all the love you need/want within you. At the very essence of your being is pure love. That love is always there, it’s just a matter of recognizing it. In our everyday busy lives, we don’t stop to think about the love within us, which truly is part of the fabric of our lives. However, the love within all of us is the nucleus of our existence and helps us navigate in life. It’s important to be aware of it, and if you choose to, you can put some thought in this area to help nurture the love within yourself. Don’t forget to share that love with those around you in your immediate family and in your entire world. Don’t let the love within you stay dormant. Share your love with those around you and feel this tremendous emotion on a daily basis, so you don’t feel so needy when you go out into the dating world.

The thought of manifesting love is intriguing to a lot of single people. There is a universal need that everyone on this planet has. That need is to love and to be loved. Of course, love can be found in our family, children and friends. However, the love of a soulmate is priceless and enhances one’s life.
There is a song called, “I knew I loved you before I met you.” The song writers captured the very essence of what I am writing about in this article. This essence comes from positive thinking. Many famous people throughout history have written about positive visualization such as, Norman Vincent Peale, Carl Jung, Dr. David Hawkins, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and a host of others.
Here are a few lines from the song written by Jones, Daniel/Hayes, Darren Stanley, sung by Savage Garden, 1999.
I know that it might sound more than a little crazy
But I believe…I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life
What the song writer is saying is that the person used positive visualization to visualize their soul mate and actually bring the person of their dreams into their life. This might sound foreign to you, but trust me, from my own experience I know our minds are powerful beyond our wildest dreams. In other words, if you envision the person of your dreams, hold that in your mind; be very loving and kind, then there is a great possibility of connecting to your soul mate.
This is such a simple concept: to envision the person you want to meet, become that person, put out that energy into the universe and then sit back and wait. The main thing is to do it on a daily basis.
Positive Visualization
The first thing you want to do to manifest love is to write down the type of partner you are looking for, from personality, to their appearance, their face, hair, eyes, height, attributes, moral values, etc. See everything about this person in your mind. Visualize where you are, what you are doing, how this person smells, talks and laughs. There is no right or wrong way to do this, let it come naturally as you visualize the person of your dreams.
Now that you have a picture of the person you want to manifest, sit back and visualize this person and include what you feel while putting out this positive visualization. What I mean is think back to a time when you were totally in love and recreate those feelings in your visualization. The feelings are a big part of the manifestation. This is a powerful way to manifest love into your life. Simply visualize the person of your dreams, feel how loving this person is, and do this before you fall asleep each night, so it gets imbedded in your subconscious mind for 8 hours of sleep. Let these thoughts permeate your mind. We navigate in life with our subconscious mind therefore, putting this visualization in our subconscious thoughts is powerful. When you awake the next day, you will feel positive, but you will subconsciously navigate your life in a way that will allow you the opportunity to meet your future partner. I would suggest doing this visualization for at least 30 days.
Affirmations for Manifesting Love
Affirmations will help you continue to move in a positive direction in manifesting love. Here are some suggested affirmations for manifesting love:
I attract only healthy relationships.
I am thankful for all the love in my life.
I am in a joyous, intimate relationship with a person who loves me.
I am happy with a new relationship in my life.
My new partner is wonderful and is my soulmate.
I draw love and romance into my life now.
I am ecstatic that my manifestation of a soulmate is here.
You can say the above affirmations or use your own. The key is to say as many as you can daily. You can also post them on little stickers around your house as a reminder to say them.
Join the Single World
Now that you put all this energy out into the world, it’s time to move forward in ways that will help you attract your soulmate. I would suggest moving in a positive direction to places you can meet single people. Perhaps join a single meetup group in your area. Or go to a singles dance or take up dance lessons. Join a group of like-minded people, like a writing group or a singles travel group. Perhaps your place of worship has a singles meeting or maybe you can start one. Put yourself out there in areas where you have the opportunity to meet new single people. This will increase your chances of meeting your soulmate.
Gratitude
If you followed the above outline, it is time to let go of the outcome and stay in a state of gratitude. Be grateful for all the love you currently have in your life and sit back and wait in gratitude. It’s important to also be grateful for the love that may be coming into your life in the future, as if it is already here. For instance, you can resonate with the thought that I am grateful my soulmate is here. Just stay in a complete state of gratitude.
Studies have shown that feeling thankful can improve sleep, mood and immunity. Gratitude can decrease depression, anxiety, difficulties with chronic pain and risk of disease.
